With around a hundred portraits taken by photographer Gabriela Kaziuk and dozens of biographies to be discovered on the polonais.lu website, this exhibition highlights the life stories of Poles living in the Grand Duchy, particularly on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Polish-Luxembourg diplomatic relations (1921-2021).
With some 4,900 Polish nationals throughout the country, Poles form an important community in the multicultural landscape of the Grand Duchy and are an integral part of Luxembourg's history: that of the pre-war period and even that of the 19th century with the economic development of the Grand Duchy.
